Ammerlaan TGI in Pijnacker specializes in tropical plant cultivation. To meet growing production needs, an expansion of their existing greenhouse was required. VDF Greenhouses delivered a tailor-made solution that seamlessly connects to the 2008 structure and the 13,000 m² greenhouse built in 2016. The new greenhouse provides ideal conditions for tropical plants with optimal light, climate, and workflow efficiency, while ensuring smooth integration with existing facilities.
The project consists of a 5,760 m² Venlo greenhouse with an additional 840 m² of workspace. The structure features a 9.60-metre truss, 4.80-metre bay, 5.00-metre module, and 7.00-metre column height. Attached to the earlier 2008 greenhouse and complemented by the 13,000 m² 2016 structure, the extension ensures a seamless connection to existing operations. The result is a spacious, bright, and well-ventilated greenhouse that provides optimal growing conditions for tropical plants and supports efficient crop management.
